Aakash Chopra also discussed the performance of Team India and the reason behind their disqualification from the 2022 T20 World Cup. The well-known cricket pundit stated that the team was eliminated because of their defensive strategy in the major tournament. Additionally, he questioned the Indian batters’ intentions, since at one point in the game, the squad was trying to score a lot of runs in the first ten overs.

“Everyone else was playing very aggressively, which was one of the reasons identified for the World Cup 2022’s defeat—the bad performance in the tournament. We used to play defensively; everyone else, even Pakistan, played aggressively. We had a formula for every match: 36 runs in six overs. Chopra stated, “We didn’t play that cricket. We said we would aim to reach 100 runs in 10 overs.
