Suzie Bates and Harmanpreet Kaur advance in the Women’s T20 International Batting Rankings .

Following the weekly update on July 11, India captain Harmanpreet Kaur has reclaimed a spot in the top 10 in the Women’s T20I Batting Rankings, while New Zealand star Suzie Bates has reclaimed a spot in the top five.

With scores of 44 and 52 helping her team take a 2-0 lead in their three-match series in Sri Lanka, Bates, a formerly top-ranked batter, has climbed three spots to take over fifth place. Harmanpreet Kaur has climbed four spots to tenth place thanks to her game-winning 54 not out off 35 balls in the first T20I of their three-match series in Bangladesh.

The West Indies captain Hayley Matthews is a notable gainer in the most recent update, which also takes into account performances in the second and third games of the England-Australia series as well as in all three games of the West Indies versus Ireland series. Matthews was named “player of the series” for her contributions with both the bat and the ball.

Thai opener Natthakan Chantham has moved up seven spots to 22nd after scores of 65 and 64, and captain Naruemol Chaiwi has moved up seven spots to 36th in the Women’s ODI Player Rankings, which were updated following the three-match series between the Netherlands and Thailand in Amstelveen, which ended 1-1 with one match being abandoned without a ball being bowled.

After taking five wickets in two games, Dutch seam bowler Iris Zwilling has climbed eight spots to rank 41.
