India, England, and now Australia are all being illuminated by him. That is correct; Vaibhav Suryavanshi is unstoppable. The 14-year-old had yet another spectacular appearance in today’s maiden Youth ODI against Australia U19 in Brisbane.
In the YODIs against England U19, Suryavanshi scored 33, 143, 86, 45, and 48 runs. Against Australia U19, he hammered 38 off 22 balls, totalling eight boundaries.
He scored seven fours and one six, and an incredible 34 of his 38 runs were in boundaries. In order to reach the 226 that AUS U19 had set, the left-handed teenager opened the batting with Ayush Mhatre. His assault enabled IND U19 to reach 50 within the fifth over of the chase. Even though Suryavanshi might be a little unhappy that he didn’t convert the start into a significant score, his influence is indisputable, and he keeps proving that he is better than the other players in the youth division.
But unlike Suryavanshi, Ayush Mhatre, a standout for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), has had a difficult time in YODIs. In his previous six YODI innings, he has already scored five single-digit scores. Following YODI victories of 1, 5, 0, 21, 1 against England U19, Mhatre opened the Australia trip with a 10-ball six today. The team’s captain is the right-hander. Mhatre did, however, have two exceptional Youth Test results versus ENG U19, recording scores of 80, 126, 102, and 32.
