There have been some problems with the Indian team’s trip to its neighbor, Pakistan, for the Champions Trophy 2025, which is scheduled to take place there. Due to political tensions between the two nations, the Indian squad will not be visiting Pakistan, the ICC was recently notified.
During the current Twenty20 International series against South Africa, star cricketer Suryakumar Yadav was recently embroiled in controversy.
A fan questioned Surya about why he wouldn’t go to Pakistan to attend the Champions Trophy.
Surya responded to the supporters by saying that he has no control over it. Surya remarked, “Brother, we have no control over it.” The same video clip has also been going viral on social media.

They are to blame: Chopra, Aakash
The relationship between India and Pakistan has always existed. After the Asia Cup was held in 2023 under a hybrid format, India declined to travel to Pakistan and instead played their matches in Sri Lanka. Aakash Chopra, a former cricket player for India, spoke out on his country’s unwillingness to travel given the Champions Trophy.
India’s decision to not travel to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has been made and ratified; the BCCI has no say in the matter. The latest result is not related to the Indian cricket squad. “The Indian government makes a decision when it comes to participating in the neighboring country,” Chopra stated in a video posted on his YouTube channel. “The Men in Blue can play against Pakistan if the matches are conducted in India or at neutral locations.
