The hand injury that Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav suffered last week during the pre-season match against TNCA XI at the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament in Coimbatore is being treated for. Yadav was originally selected for the Duleep Trophy with the India C side. He’s in Bengaluru right now for a standard assessment at the National Cricket Academy.
In an effort to give Suryakumar time to recover for the Duleep Trophy season opening, the Mumbai team management made the deliberate decision to preserve him after he suffered a hand injury during the match. Recently, the captain of India’s T20I team stated that he would like to be a regular in the red-ball format as well.
Suryakumar Yadav declared himself available for the Duleep Trophy and the Buchi Babu event in light of India’s busy red-ball calendar.
which includes 10 Test matches for the Men in Blue over the course of the next five months. Suryakumar would have liked to take part in the local competitions and take advantage of the chances to re-enter the picture after playing his lone Test match against Australia last year.
Also missing for the first round were three additional well-known cricket players.
Cricket players other than Suryakumar have also been eliminated from the first round. Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik, pacemen who represent India B and C, respectively, have been ruled out owing to illness. Their replacements are mentioned as Gaurav Yadav and Navdeep Saini.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India did not provide a specific explanation for the absence of star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, but he has also been made unavailable. Ruturaj Gaikwad’s India C will, incidentally, play Shreyas Iyer’s India D at the ACA ADCA Ground in Anantapur.
