Notably, the cricketer has been phenomenal for the five-time champions in the current season, scoring 544 runs in 15 matches, and is presently seventh in the race for the IPL Orange Cap. The Mumbai-born batsman began the season slowly, but as the tournament progressed, he improved and played outstanding cricket.
Suryakumar Yadav, in discussing his strategy for the shortest format, stated that he prefers to deal with boundaries, or at least in singles and doubles, as it ultimately relieves a great deal of pressure. The batter added, “I am certain of this and will stand by myself regardless of the circumstance.”
