Notably, all ten teams will be vying for the championship; the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) was one of the teams that won over the fans the previous season. Last season, the club made it to the competition finals and featured several exciting players. The Indian Premier League (IPL), a spectacular T20 cricket tournament, is scheduled to start on 22 March.
As they prepare for the competition, World Champion captain Pat Cummins will continue to lead the squad despite the addition of a few new players. The team has shared their new shirt on social media for the competition, and it looks fantastic in terms of colour and design. The team’s orange and black colour scheme hasn’t changed much from the previous year. However, the players still looked sharp in the reel’s featured outfit.
Leg spinner Rahul Chahar, flashy young opener Abhishek Sharma, domestic star Abhinav Manohar, and Team India’s top wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan were all featured in the film. As the players posed with the bat and ball in the Instagram reel, Kendrick Lamar’s popular song “DNA” played in the background, highlighting their style and attitude. Additionally, there was a second reel that had Sharma sketching the jersey on a canvas before the young athletes posed once more.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’ IPL journey
After the Deccan Chargers, a previous Hyderabad-based team, were banned, the Sunrisers Hyderabad made their tournament debut in 2013 and advanced to the playoffs in their inaugural season. The team’s performance for the next two seasons was disappointing to the fans, as they finished sixth in the league each times before winning the championship in 2016.
After winning the championship, the Sunrisers advanced to the playoffs four times in a row before experiencing a sharp drop in performance after 2020, including terrible seasons in 2021 and 2023. They made it to their third IPL final last season, which was one of their best seasons, and they will hope to keep up that performance in the next competition.
