At the Queen’s Park Cricket Club, Brian Lara, a legend of the West Indies, recognized Indian batting star Sunil Gavaskar.
The second game of a two-match Test series between India and the West Indies is now being played in Trinidad’s Queen’s Park Oval. This is the teams’ 100th encounter together in the longest version of the game.
The batting legend can be seen beaming as Queen’s Park Cricket Club members present him with a gift to honor the 100th Test between West Indies and India. In keeping with this, Gavaskar recently turned to his social media accounts and released a video of the felicitation Lara The 74-year-old and “The Prince of Trinidad” also sent a few photos.
“After the magnificent felicitation by Queens Park Cricket Club in Trinidad, with the “Prince of Trinidad,” Brian Lara, and Nigel Camacho, QPCC president. It’s like my second home. Much love and appreciation to my West Indian supporters,” Gavaskar wrote in the Instagram description.
Sunil Gavaskar has 2749 runs in 27 Test games with an average of 65.45, including 13 hundreds and seven half-centuries. The World Cup-winning cricketer is still renowned for his flawless 236 against the Caribbean country in Chennai in 1983, which continues to be his best Test score. In addition, despite playing in challenging West Indian conditions, he scored 1404 runs in 13 games.

In the current Trinidad Test, India tightens its grip on West Indies.
Regarding the second Test of the series, Virat Kohli, who is taking part in his 500th international match, struck an outstanding 121 off 206 deliveries as India produced 438 in the first innings. Kemar Roach and Jomel Warrican both got three wickets for the hosts.
The West Indies were 229/5 at the end of Day 3 thanks to a half-century from captain Kraigg Brathwaite (75). Ravindra Jadeja claimed two wickets, compared to one each for the visitors’ Mohammed Siraj, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Mukesh Kumar, who was making his debut. The Rohit Sharma-led squad’s goal in Trinidad is to win in order to achieve a comprehensive whitewash.
