Recently, former England pacer Stuart Broad said that, in the historic ‘Six Sixes’ over of Yuvraj Singh at the 2007 T20 World Cup, he came very close to giving up seven sixes.
The historic event took place on September 19, 2007, 17 years ago, in Durban, South Africa, during an important Super Eight match between India and England. When Singh faced Broad in the 19th over of India’s innings, he struck six straight sixes and made history. Broad said that he will never again watch that particular event on its 17th anniversary.

Singh celebrated the 17th anniversary of his remarkable achievement on social media in the meantime. “Forever grateful to represent my country and for moments like these,” he remarked on the platform.

In the meantime, the southpaw helped India post a mammoth 218/4 in their 20 overs by finishing his innings with 58 off of 16 balls in that match. Even though they chased with confidence, England was ultimately unsuccessful by 18 runs, which meant they had to leave the competition early.
