India last played at the location on December 22, 2019, a match that the home team won by a margin of four wickets.
When it comes to their overall record, India has won 13 of the 17 One-Day Internationals they have played at the Barabati Stadium.
In the meantime, the 50-over section began with India winning the opening match of the series by four wickets following their 4-1 thumping in the recently finished T20I series. The home squad put on a brilliant display, holding England to 248 before pursuing the goal with 68 deliveries remaining.
Virat Kohli, the star batsman, missed the first game of the series because of an injured right knee. He will, however, make a comeback in the next game. After a few months of lacklustre batting performances, there will undoubtedly be high expectations for Kohli to get back to his typical style.
