The South African team for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh has been revealed. Sensitive political circumstances in Bangladesh cast doubt on the series, but CSA just gave it the all-clear. Senuran Muthusamy, a left-arm spinner with three Test matches under his belt, was called up by South Africa for the same reason. A spin trio that also features Keshav Maharaj and Dane Piedt will feature Muthusamy.
Kagiso Rabada, Nandre Burger, Dane Paterson, and Wiaan Mulder for the Proteas will likely spearhead the pace attack in the first Test of the series, which is scheduled to begin in Dhaka on October 21. Muthusamy also mentions his experience with around 5000 runs and 247 First-class wickets. Shukri Conrad, the head coach of South Africa, revealed the squad’s depth and adaptability.
