In New Delhi, former BCCI President and chief of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), Sourav Ganguly, weighed in on the protest of wrestlers. Notably, Ganguly is the first member of the cricketing community to publicly state his position on the issue.

Top Indian wrestlers have been protesting on the streets of Delhi for the past few days, for those unaware. Because no action has been taken against Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, the president of the country’s wrestling federation, who has been accused of sexual harassment. With limited knowledge of the incident in Delhi, former cricketer Sourav Ganguly voiced his opinion on the matter because he wished for a swift resolution.

Let them fight their own conflicts. I only know what is occurring there from what I read in the newspaper. In the world of sports, I have learned that you do not discuss topics about which you lack comprehensive knowledge. So, I pray it gets resolved. The wrestlers have won numerous medals and brought honor to the nation.

Sourav Ganguly was quoted by PTI as saying, “It will hopefully be resolved.”

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has not yet issued a statement on the matter and is still investigating the allegations. In addition, the government-established supervision panel has yet to release its findings.

Sourav Ganguly The Delhi Capitals are in last place in the IPL standings.
The former president of BCCI is presently the Director of Cricket for the Delhi Capitals (DC). However, the David Warner-led team has performed poorly and is presently positioned last in the IPL Points Table.

Tenth-placed Delhi has a meager six points from nine matches, thanks to three victories in their most recent four contests. On Saturday, May 6, David Warner and company will face the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
