South African pacer Kagiso Rabada would need ten more days to return to the GT squad for the current IPL 2025, according to skipper Shubman Gill.
The Titans, who have won four of their six IPL 2025 games, will take on the Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday, April 19, at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
Before leaving for South Africa, Rabada participated in the first two games. “We are just waiting for him,” stated Ashish Kapoor, GT assistant coach, prior to the match against DC. He may come back.
“He’s gone because of some personal and family issues. He will return once he has resolved that, assuming it is resolved in a timely manner. However, we’re not sure when. Like everyone else, we are simply waiting.
Shubman Gill stated at the toss that “Kagiso Rabada is hopefully going to be back in the next 10 days,” but Kapoor did not give a precise update.
Over the following ten days, GT will play the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), hence Rabada might miss these games before returning.
