The International Cricket Council quoted Shubman as saying, “It feels amazing to be able to open with him, especially knowing that all the attention is on him.
“He likes the other batters to go and just express himself and play the game the way I want to play it,” the pitcher said. As a result, he offers the players complete freedom to express themselves in their game.
