Shreyas Iyer joins the Sobo Mumbai Falcons in the 2025 T20 Mumbai League

Prior to the 2025 T20 Mumbai League season, the SoBo Mumbai Falcons have signed star batsman Shreyas Iyer.

Now, in the next event, the star cricket player will be seen playing for the team. Additionally, he was named an Icon Player for the team. After his success over the past year or two, Iyer, who recently regained his BCCI central contract, will be eager to add another T20 trophy to his collection.

Several other Indian players, including all-rounder Shardul Thakur, ace opener Prithvi Shaw, and First-Class captain Ajinkya Rahane, have also been able to secure a spot on the team. India’s T20 International captain, Suryakumar Yadav, has signed a contract with Triumph Knights, while star all-rounder Shivam Dube will play for Arcs Andheri.

Prior to the event, the North Mumbai Panthers, on the other hand, added the unpopular Prithvi Shaw to their roster. Ahead of the forthcoming Indian domestic season, Shaw will try to get back in touch with the team and secure a place in Mumbai’s all-format squads.

While Test specialist Sarfaraz Khan will bat for Aakash Tigers MWS, Shardul, also known as Palghar Express, has signed with the Thane Eagle Strikers. The MSC Maratha Royals have signed fast bowler Tushar Deshpande, who has represented India in Twenty20 cricket.

Star Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma, who hung his boots during the Twenty20 Internationals, has been voted the tournament’s third edition’s Face of the Season. However, he will not be participating in the league. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) will soon disclose the complete schedule for the third season, which will begin immediately after the conclusion of the IPL 2025.
