The Bangladesh Cricket Board revealed on Wednesday, January 24, that star all-rounder Shakib al Hasan has been diagnosed with a retinal disease in his left eye. The 36-year-old allegedly complained of eye problems and sought advice from ophthalmologists abroad as well as in Bangladesh.
It was determined after several ocular examinations that the cricket player’s left eye’s retinal problem. Shakib al Hasan will continue to play for Rangpur Riders in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League, where they will play the Khulna Tigers on January 26.
