The majority of Dwayne Bravo‘s cricket career was spent with the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. The seasoned player has declared his retirement from all cricket-related activities. The announcement of his appointment as the mentor of the Kolkata Knight Riders came to light just hours after he had retired. Prior to declaring his IPL retirement, the all-rounder served as the bowling coach for CSK.

The Shahrukh Khan-owned team was declared the IPL 2024 champion just now.

Gautam Gambhir will be replaced by Bravo as the Purple Camp mentor. Following his assumption of this important role, the Caribbean stated that he would constantly advocate for a position where future generations may find inspiration. Bravo played a staggering 582 matches worldwide before ending its storied franchise cricket career. He was a member of the team that won four titles, especially for CSK.
