In the current Pakistan-Bangladesh test being played in Rawalpindi, pacer Shaheen Afridi is encountering difficulties. On Saturday, the seaman’s spouse Ansha Afridi welcomed their son, Aliyar Shaheen Afridi. Fans have given the couple congrats.
On February 3, 2023, the youth married Ansha Afridi, the daughter of Shahid Afridi, in a secret nikah ceremony. The couple is reportedly expecting their first child, according to sources from July. Shahid Afridi thereby became the first-ever grandfather.
“Shaheen can miss Bangaladesh Test matches due to childbirth,” asserted Pakistan Test coach Jason Gillespie before. If he chooses to stay with his wife till then, we can give him [some] relaxation.”
Regarding Shaheen Afridi’s birth, Pakistani writer Ahtasham Riyaz tweeted, “Many many congrats to Shaheen Shah Afridi and Ansha Afridi for getting blessed with a baby son “Aliyar Shaheen Afridi.” I’m wishing the family a very happy holiday.”

Against Bangladesh, Shaheen Afridi is having difficulty getting wickets in the current Test match.
In the present Test match in Rawalpindi against Bangladesh, the left-arm pacer has not been fortunate enough to take wickets. After bowling out 25 overs, Afridi has conceded 67 runs while taking no wickets.
On the opening day, Bangladeshi captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto won the toss and chose to send Pakistan to bat first. With three wickets and 16 runs, the hosts were immediately reduced to nothing, with Babar Azam being out for a duck. However, Pakistan’s 448/6 was made possible by the centuries of Mohammed Rizwan and Saud Shakeel.
