When Shafali Verma, a star cricket player for India’s women’s team, talked about being cut from the Indian squad for the November trip to Australia, she was clearly upset. Moreover, it appeared that Shafali Verma had been enjoying the benefits of her training. Since being dropped, Shafali has participated in two domestic tournaments, scoring three hundreds and five fifties in 12 games, totalling 527 and 414 runs.
