Scotland announces their Women's T20 World Cup 2024 team, with the Bryce sisters taking on a leadership role

The ladies’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the United Arab Emirates is scheduled to kick off on October 3. The Scottish ladies have revealed their team for this important tournament. Scotland will be led by star all-arounder Kathryn Bryce in the competition, with her sister Sarah serving as vice captain.

Priyanaz Chatterji, Katherine Fraser, and Megan McColl are among the all-round players in the squad, thus it’s important to note that they are all around players.

Following the squad’s announcement, head coach Craig Wallace took the mic to laud the team’s overall balance, stating that they had match winners from beginning to end and expressing his optimism for the forthcoming season.

Scotland women’s World Cup campaign will be their first, and they aim to compete to the best of their abilities.

“This group has an excellent composition and balance; we have players who can win games from beginning to end. This, in my opinion, has made a significant impact in the squad’s development during my brief stay. Everyone on the team has been putting in significant performances every time they take the pitch, according to a comment from Craig Wallace.

Scotland, who placed second in the qualifiers behind Sri Lanka, is noteworthy for having qualified for the tournament and will be bringing impressive performances with them.

It was wonderful to be able to debate players’ cases in a constructive way based on the work they’ve all given, Wallace said. “If you look at the recent Netherlands series, we won five games out of six, and there is a depth in the wider group now, proved by some of those who haven’t been selected but who have been pushing and performing all year,” Wallace said.
