IND versus ENG: Sarfaraz Khan, Shubman Gill, and Jonny Bairstow got into a furious argument during the last Test

Players on the field engaged in some heated arguments during the fifth and final Test match between India and England at Dharamsala. Indian batters Shubman Gill and Sarfaraz Khan got into a verbal argument before Kuldeep Yadav removed English batsman Jonny Bairstow.

When Bairstow brought up the fact that James Anderson, a seasoned player, had previously sent him out in the Test, Gill made an effort to gain the upper hand. “What did you say to Jimmy about getting tired, and he got you out after that?” Bairstow was alluding to Gill’s outing in the first inning following his 110-run score.

Gill, who is 23 years old, responded with force. “Whatever, it was a hundred years later. “How many are there here?”

Then, baiting Gill’s record in English circumstances, Jonny Bairstow asked, “How many have you got full stop?”

The heated debate continued when Sarfaraz Khan, fielding at short leg, asked Bairstow, “You’ve scored a few runs this series; why are you making so much noise?” after entering the conversation.

The last laugh goes to Kuldeep Yadav.

Having looked dangerous, hitting three fours and three sixes, England’s batsman Bairstow was leg-before wicket for 39 after Kuldeep Yadav trapped him in the eighteenth over. As the English hitter made his way to the pavilion, all three players were observed conversing.

During his disastrous trip, Bairstow has failed to even achieve a half-century; his highest score of 39 runs came in the fifth Test.

With Bairstow out of the picture, India has already taken a commanding lead over England, having dismissed half of their batting order. The hosts intend to secure a 4-1 series victory.
