The Nassau County Stadium in New York hosted India’s ICC T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up game against Bangladesh on June 1. India won the toss and batted first. India planned for some batters to explode and others to chip about.
They were 159/4 when Ravindra Jadeja joined Hardik Pandya at the crease in the 17th over. Their first ball was disastrous for Jadeja. A wider delivery from Tanvir Islam caused Jadeja to miss a slog. Before and after the bowling, he was on the crease line.
The wicketkeeper held the ball and removed the stumps as the batsman was caught short. The bowler was not out because camera angles could not hold him accountable for crossing the line. On TV, Sanjay Manjrekar joked that it looked out and he might have to stop talking because it was Jadeja.

Manjrekar called the southpaw a “pure bowler” in Tests rather than ODIs because of his poor performance in the 50-over event.
