Additionally, Sam Curran claims that the team’s success may be attributed to their dedication to all of the club’s employees, not just the players. Ahead to IPL 2025, Curran discussed CSK’s loyalty in an interview with former England captains Nasser Hussain and Michael Atherton on the Sky Cricket Podcast. He provided an example of how they still have coaches and support staff who have been with the team since the first season in 2008.

Sam Curran participated in 15 IPL 2020 and 2021 games for CSK, helping the team win the 2021 IPL championship. He cost INR 2.4 crore to CSK at the IPL 2025 mega auction.
