In the two games they have played against each other in the ongoing Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates, India’s assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate commended his team for letting their bat do the talking.
The controversial antics of Sahibzada Farhan and Haris Rauf during the Super-Four match between India and Pakistan were not overlooked, according to the former Netherlands all-rounder.
In reference to the unsubstantiated reports that Pakistan shot down six Indian fighter jets following Operation Sindoor, the right-arm speedster waved “6-0” at the Indian supporters. In contrast, Farhan celebrated his half-century in the first innings by pointing his bat into the sky and holding it like a rifle. But once he reached his milestone, he was unable to raise the stakes. Pakistan reached 91/1 midway through the match and only managed 79 runs in the final 10 overs.
Suryakumar Yadav and company were able to conduct themselves admirably throughout the event, and Ten Doeschate was proud of them.
“Let me start by saying that it’s really hard to control the players’ behaviour because of the amount of strain they’ve been under due to the circumstances. Although I witnessed some of Haris [Rauf]’s actions, that is not our problem. Prior to India’s match against Bangladesh on Wednesday, September 24, in Dubai, Ryan Ten Doeschate stated at the pre-match press conference, “As I mentioned earlier, we’re really proud of how the guys carried themselves.”
“On the pitch, they used their bats to combat fire. We’re happy with the way our lads have performed in this competition, but I’m sure other teams have problems with some of what we’ve done,” he continued.

After witnessing the Indian players stick to their intentions despite their Pakistani colleagues’ questionable gestures, Ryan ten Doeschate expressed his satisfaction.
We were really focused on how we wanted to act, but again, given the circumstances, you can see why guys are acting the way they are and what they are attempting to convey. Ten Doeschate remarked, “I think we stuck to cricket really well.”
Given the celebration and some of the remarks made by the Pakistani bowling unit during the game, it would have been simple for us to go crazy at that point. The players, in my opinion, did a great job sticking to their goal of finishing the job and winning the game. As I mentioned, we’re not at our best, so we have a lot to improve on, but it’s still quite satisfying for us to win very easily,” he continued.
