Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, disclosed that he has been discussing batting tactics with Joe Root, Virat Kohli, and Kane Williamson in an effort to pick their brains and improve their performance. The 29-year-old is presently going through a difficult time since, when he was captain, Pakistan was knocked out of the T20 World Cup group stage and was unable to advance to the ODI World Cup semi-finals.
His batting performance has also declined, and his leadership qualities have been continuously questioned. Shan Masood will captain the team in the Test series against Bangladesh and England, thus he will now take a vacation from his leadership responsibilities. Babar is free to concentrate just on his hitting in the interim. Babar scored just 126 runs in three games during Pakistan’s most recent red-ball series against Australia, which ended in a 0-3 loss.
Babar discussed his lessons from Joe Root, Kane, and Kohli ahead of the August 21 start of the series against Bangladesh.

Babar also discussed his difficulties before to joining the Pakistani team. The Pakistani captain talked about his first experience with a leather ball and how, although they weren’t wealthy, his parents still did everything they could to assist him.
“My family is not wealthy, and we didn’t always have money. But my parents gave me a lot of support. Playing cricket with a hard ball was really challenging when I was a kid, Babar said.
