Rohit Sharma, the former captain of India, captured the hearts of online users with his considerate and kind treatment of a child at the airport. One of India’s most beloved cricket players is the 38-year-old. His modest demeanour allows people to relate to him because he makes them feel like they are one of their own.

Prior to the three-match ODI series against New Zealand, Rohit is expected to join the Indian squad.
On Sunday, January 11, the first ODI is set to take place at Vadodara’s BCA Stadium. On January 14 and 18, respectively, Rajkot and Indore will host the next games.
In 2025, Sharma performed admirably in the ODI format. He guided the Men in Blue to the Champions Trophy victory earlier in the year. Rohit played brilliantly on the tour of Australia and won Player of the Series when Shubman Gill took his place as captain in the 50-over tournament. In the ensuing home ODI series against South Africa, he also played well.
Rohit represented Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy prior to the New Zealand series, where he struck a century and a duck in two games. The flashy batter’s comeback to international cricket against the Kiwis is eagerly anticipated by fans.
