'Dimag kahan hai tera?'- Rohit Sharma's on-field jibe at Harshit Rana in Cuttack ODI goes viral

On Sunday, February 9, India and England are playing the second One-Day International (ODI) of their three-match series at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. Rohit Sharma’s stump-mic moment during the first innings is becoming popular among cricket fans.

Over the years, the Indian captain has made several memorable one-liners that have been captured on stump microphones. Fans adore Rohit’s raw side, as he has a unique method of bringing out the best in his athletes.

The most recent incident took place in the 32nd over of England’s innings. Harshit Rana put pressure on England skipper Jos Buttler by bowling four dot deliveries. Buttler defended the fifth ball, which was to Rana’s left. The bowler had a shy at the stumps, and the seasoned hitter was positioned just outside his crease. However, a reasonably excellent over was spoilt by a poor toss that went for a boundary.

In a humorous way, Rohit asked the young bowler, “Dimag kidhar hai tera? (Where is your brain?)” and was not impressed with his attempt.

What might have been a maiden over went for four runs after Rana followed it up with a dot ball. As he gets more experience in high-stress situations, the 23-year-old, who is playing in his sixth international match, will learn to maintain his composure.

Harshit Rana brushed off the scary-looking Brook.

Harshit the Pacer Earlier in the day, Rana took Harry Brook’s crucial wicket. The England batsman had scored a patient 31 and was now positioned at the crease. However, Rana delivered a deft slower delivery to conclude his time at the crease. Although he had to run back from mid-off, peek over his right shoulder, and make a full-stretch dive to make an incredible catch, Shubman Gill deserves a lot of credit for the dismissal.
