In the first innings of the third Test match at The Gabba in Brisbane, the Australian team outperformed the Indian squad. India has yet another batting breakdown.

India was able to bowl out the Australians for 445 runs on Day 3. But when the speed attack from Australia shattered their preparations, the team’s poor batting performance persisted. Before a period of rain cut short the match, they had already lost three wickets. Back in the hut, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored three, one, and four runs, respectively. hesitatingly leaving India at 22/3.

Things became worse for the visitors when the game restarted, as Pant left the field with nine runs before the action was cut short by more rain. India had a steep 397-run deficit at 44/4.
