Over the years, veteran Indian hitter Rohit Sharma has been outstanding for the Indian squad, scoring runs in all formats. Without a doubt, Rohit Sharma is one of India’s most reliable players, and he has had a significant impact as captain.

The 36-year-old captained the Men in Blue to victory in the ODI World Cup 2023 final. There have been rumors that Rohit Sharma will also captain the team in the T20 World Cup, which is scheduled for 2024. Rohit Sharma and Kohli are essential components of the Indian cricket team. Ganguly

In addition, Ganguly criticized Virat Kohli and Rohit for missing white-ball assignments against South Africa. Remarkably, India is scheduled to play three Twenty20 internationals and three one-day internationals against South Africa in December 2023. In two Test matches, the team will also play the Proteas. While Rohit and Kohli will play the two-game Test series, they will not participate in the white-ball series.

“You witnessed Virat and Rohit’s World Cup performances. They play a crucial and vital role in the Indian cricket squad. Because the pressures are different, World Cups and bilateral series are not the same. They performed admirably throughout the World Cup, and Ganguly expressed optimism that in six to seven months they will once again be the best in the West Indies.
