Fans swarmed around the 37-year-old in the dressing room alley during India’s warm-up match. “Waited for this day for the last 10 years,” yelled an enthusiastic admirer among the crowd. The Indian captain grinned at this and kept signing bats, shirts, and other souvenirs.
