In the just concluded Twenty20 International series, India defeated Sri Lanka 3-0, led by Gautam Gambhir. The senior cricket players, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul, were not included in the series; they did not begin training with Gambhir until after the third Twenty20 International. Gambhir and Kohli were seen giggling during one of these training sessions, and the video quickly went viral and shattered the internet.
Gambhir and Kohli have a contentious past. Both of them had a history of fighting, and it seemed unlikely that they could coexist in the same dressing room.
Captain Rohit Sharma, though, made it clear that there won’t be any issues. He continued by saying that he has spoken with the former cricket player from India a few times and that he is willing to collaborate with him to improve Indian cricket.
Gambhir had a great time in the changing room, according to Rohit Sharma, who also said that the players won’t invade his personal space and vice versa.
He went on to say that every coach has their own methods and that Gambhir’s laughter is irrelevant.
“You know, all of our little conversations revolved on cricket—how to manage the squad, what’s required, which categories we excel in, and where we fall short. Since I hadn’t had an opportunity to meet him (since Gambhir became coach), it was largely catching up. This is where I met him. We were simply having a casual conversation about the squad, upcoming events, and the journey ahead, Rohit remarked.

“Gauti bhai jokes around and has a great time in the changing room. However, he only knows what is particular to him. I disagree that we should try to enter this private zone in order to find out, among other things, whether he will laugh more frequently. Everybody is different. People might not like it even though you might laugh more. Thus, in the end, I think it’s a personal matter,” he continued.
