Ishan Kishan, a young player, is currently in outstanding form, scoring three half-centuries in each of the three ODIs against the West Indies. Because of his outstanding performance, India was able to win the series 2-1, and more importantly, the cricketer has effectively cemented his place in the Indian team for the forthcoming major competitions.

Notably, even though all of the batters had trouble getting going, the youngster scored 52 runs off of 46 pitches in the first ODI, and he scored 77 runs off of 64 pitches to win the third game. Kishan also received the Player of the Series award as a result of his outstanding performance throughout the entire series.

Wasim Jaffer, a former cricketer for India, thinks the 25-year-old still has room for improvement before becoming better. He added that the cricketer from Ranchi should develop the skill of turning his beginnings into large hundreds and gave the examples of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

“With three fifties in three games, you could argue that he is the second wicketkeeper moving forward and the third opener in line. He did nothing to hurt his chances. But he needs to develop the ability to turn those starts into hundreds. Jaffer said, “That’s what the Indian hitters need to learn from Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

I ought to have stayed and made a large score. Kishan

After the third ODI, the cricket player said publicly that he should have exercised caution in order to play lengthy innings. He continued by claiming that he had discovered this in this series and would do his best to convert his starts from the following ones.

“I wasn’t too pleased with my finishing. After being set, I was intended to make a huge score. My elders advised me to remain in and score heavily, they said. I’ll try to get set in the centre and score heavily the following time. At this level, getting set is essential. In the post-game presentation, Kishan emphasised the need to forget the previous game and start again.
