On Sunday, September 17, at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, the Asia Cup 2023 championship game between India and Sri Lanka is scheduled to take place. In an effort to claim the desired title, both sides are getting ready for the summit match. Notably, India has won seven titles, making them the most successful team in Asia Cup history. The Rohit Sharma-led team will be hungry to win their eighth championship by defeating the defending champions at home and further consolidating their power.
A picture of skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill has gone viral on social media in the days leading up to the championship game.
Both of India’s openers can be seen waiting outside a lift in the trending footage. When Gill asks Rohit a question later on in the video, the Indian skipper responds, “Arey aise nahi hoga, Pagal hai kya?” Sunday, September 17 at Colombo’s R.Premadasa Stadium.

Gill has been particularly impressive so far in the Asia Cup 2023, dominating the competition with 275 runs from five innings at an average of 68.75 and a strike rate of 90.46, with 122 fifties to his credit.
In the most recent Super Fours match against Bangladesh, the 24-year-old struck a brilliant hundred (121 off 133) and kept India in the game during the chase. However, his efforts were in futile because India was defeated by Bangladesh in the Asia Cup after 4200 days and by eight runs. However, Rohit has also had a successful tournament thus far, tallying 194 runs from five innings and three half-centuries. The Indian captain will want to keep playing well in the significant final as well.
Axar Patel will not play in the 2023 Asia Cup final.
Axar Patel, an all-rounder for India, has been ruled out of the Asia Cup final because of a left quadriceps strain he suffered during their Super Four match against Bangladesh. In advance of the crucial match, Washington Sundar, his substitute, has joined the team.
