Earlier in the year, during the series against England, India’s star bowler Akash Deep made his debut for his country. “He prevented me from playing under any form of pressure,” Akash was cited by RevSportz during the press conference held prior to the game.
“They are the game’s legends. Nevertheless, the commitment they demonstrate and the effort they make each day… With Virat bhai and Rohit bhaiya, I’ve been learning about commitment and perseverance. I feel privileged to be able to play for Rohit bhaiya. I’ve never felt under pressure from him. He has consistently supported my freedom to play,” Akash Deep continued.

According to Akash, Kanpur’s surface is sporty and won’t decline as much, giving bowlers and hitters insufficient assistance. He stated that he anticipates a good level of competitiveness and that in order for the bowlers to be successful in the second Test, they must keep their line and length.
