Robin Uthappa sees Sai Sudharsan as a future all-format player for India

Robin Uthappa discussed Sai Sudharsan, pointing out that by simply altering his shot selection, the young player went from being retired in the IPL 2024 to winning the Orange Cap in the IPL 2025. Along with Gill and Jaiswal, he considered Sudharsan to be an all-format player, pointing out that his strike rate increased from the 130s to the 170s.

“Sai Sudharsan’s ascent has been amazing. He was retired last season for failing to score goals swiftly. He has improved his strike rate from 130 to 170 this year by adding intelligent shot selection without altering his style. He now has the Orange Cap. That is really amazing.
