The team’s success this season has also been publicly praised by former RCB player Robin Uthappa.
In addition to complimenting the team, the 39-year-old pundit noted how crucial the tournament is for Virat Kohli, who has been waiting for the title for the past 17 years. Uthappa continued by highlighting the standout performances in the previous encounter against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), including Jitesh Sharma’s game-winning 85 off 33 deliveries, Mayank Agarwal’s pivotal cameo, and Nuwan Thushara’s outstanding spell.
“Virat Kohli is one person who will still be up after this triumph. He has another opportunity to try to win the IPL championship with RCB at the end of the tournament, which is a trophy he would really like to have in his cabinet.
