A number of teams have already begun their preparations for the Champions Trophy 2025, the highly anticipated ICC (International Cricket Council) mega cricket event. Prior to hosting the 50-over match, Pakistan had a slightly different strategy, whilst countries like India have favoured playing bilateral series against opponents like England. It is noteworthy that the final will take place on March 9, 2025, with the main event starting on February 19.
In order to improve their team lineups and tactics, Pakistan (PAK) decided to play an ODI tri-series instead of a bilateral competition prior to that. Before the CT 2025, the Green Shirts will play New Zealand (NZ) and South Africa (SA) at home. As a result, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and their skipper, Muhammad Rizwan, are stopping at nothing to extend their gracious hospitality.
Similarly, the country’s top cricket regulating body recently released a video in which Rizwan was spotted going shopping with captains Mitchell Santner (NZ) and Temba Bavuma (SA) in the bustling city of Karachi. It shows Rizwan explaining a variety of topics while both captains eagerly attempt to comprehend the details of the merchandise displayed. The hospitality extended by the Pakistani contingent is currently being enjoyed by a number of fans.
