Star cricketers from around the world have pulled out of the BBL (Big Bash League) draft. Nicholas Pooran, the top batter for the West Indies, is one of the few.

Nicholas Pooran withdrew from the BBL draft due to reports that the West Indies’ December 2023 match against England might get in the way of him. Mohammad Rizwan, a top wicketkeeper for Pakistan, also withdrew his name from the BBL draft owing to conflicting commitments. The fact that Pakistan will play three Test matches against Australia in the first month of the upcoming BBL season was one of the main factors in Rizwan’s decision to quit.
Peter Siddle, a seasoned Australian pacer, left Adelaide Strikers after a lengthy six-season stay. He rejoins the Melbourne Renegades, where he previously played seven times between 2013 and 2015 and was one of the top players in Australia’s Test lineup.
