Rivaba Jadeja, the Gujarati politician and wife of Ravindra Jadeja, recently caused a significant stir when she made remarks regarding the way of life of Indian cricket players while travelling overseas. She asserted that many players engage in unethical behaviour while on international tours while speaking at a public gathering in Dwarka. She did, however, commend her spouse for upholding discipline and avoiding such pressures.
Rivaba, a prominent figure in the Gujarat government, was discussing the difficulties experienced by athletes who travel a lot. She mentioned her husband’s moral principles while implying that a number of Indian cricket players are implicated in misconduct while on international tours. Debates have been sparked by her remarks, particularly since she did not name any players or define the specific behaviours she was referring to.
“To play cricket, my husband, Ravindra Jadeja, must travel to numerous nations, including Australia, Dubai, and London. Despite this, he has never touched or indulged in any addiction or vice because he is aware of his obligations. There are no restrictions on the vices that the other members of the team engage in. At the event, Rivaba Jadeja remarked, “My husband has been away from home for 12 years; he can do whatever he wants, but he understands his moral duty—what he needs to do.”

The Rajasthan Royals acquired Ravinrdra Jadeja.
The famous cricket player is still regarded as one of India’s best all-round players. After India won the T20 World Cup, he retired from T20Is, although he is still a vital member of the ODI and Test squad. He recently made headlines when, as part of a big transaction involving the Chennai Super Kings and Sanju Samson, he was traded back to the Rajasthan Royals, where he started his IPL career.
