Sourav Ganguly, a former captain of India, thinks Rishabh Pant has what it takes to go down as the all-time best in red-ball cricket. For the national squad, the keeper-batter has performed admirably, amassing 2271 runs at an average of 43.67 across 33 games. He was crucial to India’s victories over Australia in the 2020–21 campaign and the away series against England in the subsequent year.
He missed almost eighteen months of activity due to an injury, but he has returned to red-ball cricket recently.
