Prior to the World Cup, Gilchrist said of team India’s supply: “They are well stocked.”
The Indian team is well-equipped with substitute options behind the stumps in the 28-year-old’s absence. Ishan Kishan, who made the most of his opportunity while KL Rahul was injured, is poised to contribute with his explosive batting abilities.
