Amar Ujala and Dainik Jagran have reported that the wedding was originally scheduled for November 18, 2025, at the Taj Hotel in Varanasi. However, both families have decided to reschedule the wedding due to the southpaw’s schedule with the national team, particularly during the home season.

The couple has not made an official announcement, but the new tentative date is scheduled for February 2026. Between October 19 and November 8, Rinku is anticipated to play in three ODIs and five T20Is during India’s white-ball tour to Australia. Although there has been no confirmation as of yet, there are rumours that the wedding venue may move from Varanasi to a destination.
