In November 2025, famous cricketer Rinku Singh and MP Priya Saroj are scheduled to tie the knot. The couple will tie the knot in a lavish ceremony that will take place in Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow. Rinku wants Shah Rukh Khan, the owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders and a Bollywood star, to attend his wedding and bestow blessings on the soon-to-be marriage.
Notably, earlier this year during a lavish affair, Rinku and Priya became engaged. The cricketer, who was born in Aligarh, disclosed that he had also invited Shah Rukh to his engagement ceremony, but the latter was unable to attend because of some filming obligations overseas. According to Rinku, KKR CEO Venky Mysore was present during the ceremony, though.
Before my engagement, I spoke with Shah Rukh Sir and even extended an invitation to him. However, he was occupied with some shooting and was unable to attend. Venky (from Mysore), our CEO, was present. Shah Rukh Sir has also been invited to my wedding. Hopefully, he will show up,” the 27-year-old told News24.
Rinku Singh was included in the Asia Cup team.
Regarding Rinku Singh cricketing duties, the left-handed batsman has been selected for the forthcoming Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025 by India’s 15-man side. Rinku is expected to be a key member of India’s middle order when the tournament starts in the United Arab Emirates on September 9. The Indian team would be hoping for valuable contributions from him to help them, as he possesses an average of 42.00 in T20 internationals.
However, because the team is full of superstars and elite players who all deserve a spot in the starting lineup, the southpaw might not find a direct slot in the starting lineup. When the Men in Blue kick off their campaign against the UAE on September 10 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, he will face fierce opposition from lower-middle order players like Shivam Dube and Axar Patel.
The following players are part of India’s Asia Cup squad: Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Shivam Dube, Rinku Singh, Harshit Rana, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Jitesh Sharma (wicketkeeper), Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), and Suryakumar Yadav (captain).
