In the UP T20 match, Meerut and the Kashi Rudras faced off against each other. With Madhav Kaushik’s blitzkrieg (87* off 52 balls), the Mavericks were able to win the toss and post a huge total of 181/4. In response, Kashi’s top-order batsmen, Karan Sharma (58 off 44 balls) and Shivam Bansal (57 off 41 balls), laid up a strong foundation with their 113-run stand for the second wicket to almost pull off the dramatic run chase despite losing an early wicket. The Meerut bowlers, on the other hand, had different ideas and stopped the Rudras from forcing a Super Over conflict.
In the Super Over, Rinku Singh scored 18 runs against Kashi Rudras for the Meerut Mavericks.
In the tie-breaker phase, the Kashi Rudras were able to set a goal for the Meerut Mavericks by scoring a respectable 16 runs while batting first. The Mavericks asked Rinku Singh to go out and complete the task for the club because of his reputation for having a cool head and exceptional finishing abilities.
