Zaheer Khan, a former cricketer for India, predicts that Mukesh Kumar, an elite bowler, will play for the Indian team for a time. Notably, the batsman managed to break onto the international stage and made his debut in the second Test of the ongoing India tour of the West Indies after enjoying a pair of fantastic seasons in the domestic circuit.
Notably, the cricketer was very careful with his line and length on his debut and was able to take two wickets. He looked composed and could play for India for a very long time, according to Zaheer, who was quite impressed with his skill set.
“Mukesh Kumar had a good appearance. There’s no denying it. He performed admirably in his debut game; he was cool under pressure and displayed a positive disposition. This Indian team appears to have a very strong bench when you consider its depth. You can tell that Mukesh Kumar will be in this situation for a while, Zaheer stated in a conversation with JioCinema.

Even though Mukesh’s skill set in the second Test impressed Zaheer, Zaheer Khan thinks there is still room for improvement. He thinks that the player may learn more about pace from his partner Mohammed Siraj and needs to focus on it if he wants to succeed in international cricket.
“There is no denying that. He must decide how he will move things along from this point and improve his bowling. I still believed that he needed to increase his pace or by a yard if he wanted to be truly effective at this level.
