Reactions on Twitter to Virat Kohli superb performance against Bangladesh:

India’s response saw them reach their goal in 41.3 overs thanks to Virat Kohli, who scored an unbeaten 103* off 97 balls to reach his 48th ODI hundred.

His knock included six fours and four sixes. As they combined for 88 runs for the first wicket, Shubman Gill (53 off 55) and Rohit Sharma (48 off 40) also shone at the plate.

Team India defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets on October 19 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, maintaining their perfect record in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. After deciding to bat first, Bangladesh amassed 256/8 runs in their allotted 50 overs, with Litton Das scoring 66 (82) of those runs.

Bangladesh got off to a great start earlier in the day when their openers Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das combined 93 runs for the first wicket off 88 balls. Hasan, 22, reached his first half-century in ODI play by scoring 51 off 43 balls while slamming five fours and three sixes during his innings. As he caught Hasan in front of the stumps in the 15th over, Kuldeep Yadav claimed the first victim for his team.

Das continued to bat after being dismissed and eventually reached 66 runs off 82 balls. Although Bangladesh was reduced to 137/4 after 27.4 overs, he did not receive much help from the other end. Bangladesh reached 256/8 in their allotted 50 overs thanks to Mushfiqur Rahim’s contributions of 38 off 46 and 46 off 36. The best bowler for India was Ravindra Jadeja, who had scores of 2/38 in 10 overs. Jasprit Bumrah had stats of 2/41, and Mohammad Siraj had figures of 2/60.

India will play New Zealand next.

India now has eight points after winning all four of their games, maintaining their second-place position on the points table. On Sunday, October 22, at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala, they will square off against New Zealand. On the other side, Bangladesh and South Africa will square off the next day, Tuesday, October 24, at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

Meanwhile, X was abuzz with reactions on India’s another dominant victory. Here are some of the posts:

Kohli just writes the most glorious scripts. And he can do it because of the class and control that he possesses. Has to be among the greatest chasers of all time.
