After defeating the Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1 in New Chandigarh to advance to the current season’s grand finale, Mo Bobat responded to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru making it to their first IPL finals since 2016. The director of cricket for the RCB emphasised the team’s advantages and expressed pride in each player’s season-long performances.
According to Bobat, the franchise has handled difficulties with poise, courage, and aggressive intent quite effectively, and he believed this speaks to the group’s general character. He acknowledged that the Rajat Patidar-led team had accomplished a lot in the most recent iteration of the prestigious tournament, but he also asserted that the qualities listed above were the most important.
“We’re pleased with how we played the entire season. The team’s bravery, poise, and aggressive intent in the face of adversity is a reflection of the character we’ve developed together this season. “This is the one that really matters, even though we’ve reached a number of significant milestones along the way,” Bobat stated in an RCB press release.
Players that are committed to finishing the task: Bobat
He went on to say that RCB had many match winners and that it was good to see different players supporting the club in various games. Bobat said that the league’s playoffs were a time to enjoy cricket following a protracted and taxing league stage phase. He believed that both the players and the fans will enjoy the final, and that the emphasis would be on finishing the job.
“We have a lot of match-winners, and it’s great to see everyone pitching in. The playoffs are a moment to truly trust and appreciate your cricket after a hard and exhausting league round. “The players are very focused and determined to finish the job, and the final will be a great occasion, especially for our fans,” Bobat continued.
With their convincing victory over PBKS, RCB formally become the first team to go to the IPL 2025 final. In Eliminator, GT and MI will face off against one another. The victor will have the opportunity to purchase an RCB ticket for the final after facing PBKS in Qualifier 2.
