Rahul Vaidya, a well-known singer who finished second in the first season of Indian Idol in 2004, recently expressed his opinions regarding the great Virat Kohli blocking him on Instagram. The 37-year-old added that he was baffled by the scenario and did not know why the former India captain had blocked him.
Kohli’s love of music is widely known, and in some of his interviews—which are still viewed and rewatched today—the 37-year-old has also shown his admirers how good he is at singing.
Vaidya said, “Aaj tak samajh mein nahi aaya, bhai ne block kyun kiya,” when the paparazzi questioned him about why Kohli broke off his relationship with him on the popular social media site.
For those who don’t know, Rahul Vaidya also competed in season 14 of the well-known reality show Big Boss, where she placed second.
In 2021, he married actress Disha Parmar. In addition to being a singer, Vaidya has dabbled in music composition and released a few hits in the past several years.
On December 11, Kohli and his spouse, Anushka Sharma, commemorated their seventh wedding anniversary. Reports state that the couple is preparing to move to London with their kids, Akaay and Vamika.
Regarding his career, Kohli is presently in Australia, where he is playing for India under Rohit Sharma in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The 36-year-old’s 2024 average of 25.06 indicates that he has not been playing well on the red-ball circuit.
The right-handed hitter has only scored 126 runs against the World Test Champions in the first three games. Among these was a century in the first Test’s second innings at Perth’s Optus Stadium.
