In the second Test of the current series against West Indies, India’s standout batsman Virat Kohli will compete in his 500th international match. Rahul Dravid, the head coach of India, praised Kohli for this achievement and claimed that the 34-year-old has taught him a lot over his coaching career.
The first Test match in the series was won by Team India in Dominica. In the two-match series, the team captained by Rohit Sharma is now ahead 1-0. Virat scored 76 runs off 182 balls to help the Indian team win the first game by an innings and 141 runs.
“His statistics and data are all in the book, and they speak for themselves. The effort and labor he puts in when no one is looking has been fantastic for me to witness firsthand. With 25,461 runs at an average of 53.48 and 75 centuries and 131 fifties for the Indian team in international cricket, Virat Kohli is also the second-highest run scorer for India. It would be fascinating to see if “King Kohli” manages to get his 29th hundred in the second Test match, which gets underway on July 20 at Port of Spain.
