In the middle of the Gujarat floods, Radha Yadav hails the NDRF for its rescue efforts

Cricket player Radha Yadav of India has expressed her sincere gratitude to the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) for their prompt rescue operations during the recent floods in Vadodara, her hometown. The 24-year-old brought attention to the situation in her community on Wednesday, August 28, by posting a video on her Instagram story.

She spoke about being caught in a “pretty bad situation.” Several NDRF officials were visible in her video.

There are claims that significant rainfall is occurring in numerous Gujarati cities, causing the state to resemble a flood. The Vishwamitri River overflowed and the water reached residential areas, causing flooding in low-lying places, especially in Vadodara.

Former cricket player Irfan Pathan had earlier issued a stay-in caution due to the flooding. Noting that the water was getting worse, he urged everyone to take precautions.
